S-Lon Thread is an extra heavy #18 twisted nylon multifilament cord that’s been primarily used for stringing beads, bead crocheting and micro- macramé jewelry applications. It also works perfectly for hand sewing, and get ready for this… machine sewing ! It’s about the same weight as our 207 machine thread (just a tish heavier). It even comes on its own little bobbin. It is available in over 90 vibrant colors !!! The ½ oz. spool size (approx. 77 yards) makes adding a variety of colors to your projects very affordable! *Note: This thread is not pre-lubricated and the spools are not wound the same way as our machine thread spools, so you may have to experiment a little when setting the spool up for machine sewing.
