Medium Grade Tooling Sides

Our economically priced Medium Grade Tooling Sides are our best selling tooling leather! It’s a relatively constant grade that’s somewhere between the top and the bottom of the pile. There may be a few holes or scars, but usually not many. Insect damage will be minimal and will be pretty much out of the way of the best part of the hide. By and large, it’s just pretty good leather! Order what you need, we’ll cut it for you! (18–28 sf. avg.) Sof-Tan Tooling Sides Very high-end leather. These are very nice, clean, large calf sides that have been veg tanned and then milled for that soft, pebble grained appearance and very drapey feel. Tools well, dyes well, and is one of the most versatile leathers that I've seen in a while. Perfect for all sorts of bags, soft accessories, clutches, wallets, etc. You'll love working with this!!! (*Note: 2–3 oz. has a less pronounced pebble grain.)
