somewhere in the neighborhood of 65 employees. Some have already been bought back, some are coming back soon, and some have opted for other employment and journeys and we wish them well. The working at home thing was short lived for me, personally, because Chris ended up calling me in to help with phones and customer service, in-store… which meant that I got a crash course found out (and so did the poor customers who spent any amount of time on the phone with me) that when it comes to using NetSuite, I was dumber than a soup sandwich! But, on a positive note, I was able to speak to more customers in one month, than I have in a very long time. And I made many new friends in doing so! We also continued work on our new website, which should be released soon! As well as our 2020 Catalog, which I should mention, had been canceled at the onset of all of this... and revived the Thursday before it went to print…which also explains the scattered thoughts in my letter to all of you! Nice one, Rusty!  All joking aside, we are very fortunate. We were fatigued, but able to work through it… and through all the frustrations and emotions that go hand in hand with all work and no play. Not many businesses were able to fare as well as we have. But, under the guidance of a strong leadership, and the efforts of our limited staff who put their ALL into keeping us up and running, we have flourished, and in doing so, we have successfully raised the bar for ourselves and set our standards higher than ever before! Throughout all of this, our management team: Rusty, Lindsey, Chris, Liz, and Tony have been getting together on Sundays to make the plan for the week. And this will continue until life gets back to normal, or until we determine what the new normal will be. One thing is for certain, and that is nothing is certain… the world has changed, and SLC has and will continue to change and adapt… one week at a time. This experience has humbled me in so many ways. I have new-found respect and admiration for my management team, and for my co-workers. You need to know that I truly appreciate and value every one of you. And a big shout-out to all our customers who stuck through this with us and to the new ones, who decided to take a chance on us! Heroes are everywhere, and you all are mine.
