Most of the pieces will be sides that have been cut the long way, so you can make not only bags but belts also. Most of this leather is available to be purchased through regular channels, but it would cost you in the $4–$8 per sf. range. I realize that many of you won’t be able to afford this sort of purchase, but for those of you who can, I think you’ll find that it gives you a tremendous potential for increasing your sales, and it should also give you some justification for commanding a higher price for your work.
