SIZE 138 SPECIFICATIONS: 138 is used in many applications similar to 69 thread. The reason to use heavier thread might be that a particular article would see hard use or stress on the stitched areas, or that the manufacturer simply wanted the bolder look that the heavier thread would provide. 138 is a very common upholstery thread. It also requires a larger needle, so if the stitches are too close together, it can lead to tearing out along a stitch line if one is not careful. SIZE 207 SPECIFICATIONS: 207 Bonded Nylon sewing threads are made according to the highest quality standards. If your desire is a top quality thread with the best of stitching properties, then Pre-Lubricated Bonded Nylon threads are the only choice. Great for hand sewing too.
