That was when I realized that I was not going to be going back across the street to my store anytime soon. She turned to me and said “Thank you so much!!!” and gave me big hug. Then the crying teller came out from around and gave me a big hug too. I pulled out my cell phone, and called my store and asked for Lindsey. (my daughter) I told her that I wouldn’t be back for a while because I was going to have to talk to the police. She asked why. I told her that someone just tried to rob the bank, and I ran him off. She didn’t believe me. I told her to go to the front of the store and look out the window at the bank. So she went, along with a bunch of other employees. She said that there were customers that were trying to get in, but couldn’t. I said that was because they locked the doors waiting for the police to come. About that time several cop cars pulled in and started putting up yellow tape. Lindsey believed me then. A whole bunch of SLC employees were out in the parking lot watching and pointing. The bank manager opened up the bank for the officers. Then she told them what happened. Then the tellers told them what happened. Then I told them what happened. Then they watched the bank security video. That was scary!!! The police thanked me, and told me that I really shouldn’t have done that because I could have gotten hurt but they appreciated me.
